Is a math degree worth it. No a math degree is not useless financially. When you get into high school you ll really like physics in your final year. While the most common way to enter the field of engineering is with an engineering degree a math degree can also get you there in some specialized roles. A master s degree is required to enroll in these programs. Math graduates are often good at helping to solve real world physical problems and can be found working in mechanical structural aeronautical and many other realms of engineering. On the other hand an applied math degree can be pretty theoretical if your application area is theoretical physics for example.
So yes a math degree could be worth it providing there aren t computers that allow regular people to do what you took years to learn.
